The course will address all aspects of project planning and development for the Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner students' incorporation of well-built questions, search strategies and outcomes, identification of resources needed, and a plan for evaluation and dissemination of a scholarly doctoral project.

Theories of leadership, motivation, power, and organizational change serve as guiding frameworks to influence and sustain transformation within health care systems. This course introduces the foundational implementation of evidence-based clinical models designed to advance quality and promote positive patient and organizational outcomes. Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students will critically appraise, synthesize, and apply evidence to support and strengthen clinical practice and organizational initiatives. Within this mentored and supervised experience, students will collaborate with their primary faculty advisor to refine and initiate the implementation of their scholarly doctoral project, aimed at advancing their selected practice focus.
