The MS in Applied Statistics program requires 30 hours and is typically completed in four semesters. Students must take one 2-course sequence chosen from the two, namely ST540 & ST 545 or MA555 & MA560.  

Students who are considering pursuing a Ph.D. after our program are strongly encouraged to complete a thesis. The thesis is completed under the direction of one of our statistics faculty members. Students pursuing the thesis option are eligible to register for ST 599 for up to 6 credits. • Satisfy the Graduate School's Degree Requirements for the Master's Degree. 
• A minimum of 30 semester hours of coursework.
• One two-course sequence (6 hours), selected from ST 540 & ST 545 or MA 555 & MA 560 must be completed.
• Thesis or non-thesis option is available.
