Certificate Requirements
Students pursuing a Graduate GIS (Geographic Information Science) Certificate must complete four courses totaling 16 credit hours from the list below, including the required GIT 560: Introduction to GIS.

To earn a GIS Graduate Certificate, students must have a 3.0 overall GPA and earn at least a "B" in each of the four courses that comprise the certificate. If students receive a grade below a B in a course, it may still count as credit, but not toward the certificate.
