UTeach South Minor
UTeach South – A Minor in Secondary Science(s) and Math Education that leads to a Class B Certification to teach 6-12th grade in Alabama.
Degree Requirements
If a minor is required in your degree program, at least 9 (lower and/or upper-division) hours of courses in the minor must be completed at the University.

Foreign Language Exemption
Students are encouraged to speak with their advisor about pursuing their foreign language credit. However, if UTeach South is chosen, Arts and Sciences majors are exempt from the foreign language requirements.
