- Candidacy Required – MUE 444 and MUE 455
- Completion of a Music Education concentration and teacher certification requires a grade-point average of at least 2.50 on all course work attempted, no grade below a "C" in professional teacher education, and at least a 2.50 grade-point average on all work attempted in the teaching specialization (music).
