Degree Requirements

Minor in Environmental Sciences

Requirements for a Minor in Environmental Sciences include a minimum of 18 hours in Environmental Science related classes. The student must take ENV 100 Gulf Coast Sustainability Seminar, ENV 101 Principles of Sustainability, ENV 337 and ENV 337L Environmental Sciences I, and ENV 338 and ENV 338L Environmental Sciences II. In addition to these core requirements, students must take six hours of electives courses (e.g., ENV 339 Climate Change, ENV 334 Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, ENV 335 Environmental Conservation & Sustainability, or other electives approved by Stokes School of Marine and Environmental Sciences). 

If a minor is required in your degree program, at least 9 (lower and/or upper-division) hours of courses in the minor must be completed at the University.
